The Gerald Police Department would like Gerald residents to have the following information regarding the city's storm sirens:

If the storm sirens sound continuously for 3 minutes this indicates a TORNADOWARNING

If the storm sirens sound continuously for 1 minute this indicates SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING

If the siren sounds 2 short tones this is the signal for ALL CLEAR

Sirens are tested the first Monday of each month at 12:00 PM

If you are witnessing a crime in progress or are experiencing an emergency, please dial 911.
