The City of Gerald offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Payment Online Bill Pay
You will need your account number and amount due, we are still working toward full online payment.
Our online payment gives you access to pay account 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It's a convenient way to pay your bill on your own time through an online third party automated payment service. Payments made via this website should be submitted at least two (2) days before the due date to avoid late fees. This will require your account number. (At this time you will need to have amount due -- Ability to view to account online will be coming soon.)
A service fee will be charged; to pay online. The “Service Fee” is not a part of your bill, and the City of Gerald will not receive any portion of the fee associated with this service.
Types of electronic payments, include debit, and credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).
Payment In Person
Bring payment to the Gerald City Hall, 106 E. Fitzgerald Ave. Business hours are: Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM.
Payment Drop-off Location
You may drop your payment in the dropbox located in our parking lot.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven (5-7) business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Payment By Phone
Call 573-764-3340 to make a phone payment. We can take your payment using a credit or debit card over the phone. Just call 573-764-3340 and we will be happy to assist you.
Payment Through Your Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven (7) business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
